Safeguarding support for those involved in international safeguarding such as missionary organisations and faith groups operating overseas. Safeguarding training within an international context, briefing and debriefing safeguarding personnel or missionary personnel when involved in a safeguarding matter. Advice and support within the UK to ensuring missionary groups and charities meet international standards for safeguarding as well as the Charity Commission.

We have worked with many missionary organisations, developing policies and procedures, providing advice on safeguarding matters and undertaking safeguarding audits following complaints. We are available to undertake management investigations both in the UK and abroad.

Safeguarding Internationally
Safeguarding children and adults is found within the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UN CRC) and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the European Convention on Human Rights and enshrined with national laws including within the UK. When planning missions trips or working internationally organisations have to have both a country specific and an international awareness of legislation and best practice.
