Safeguarding policy implementation and review
It is essential for churches and organisations to establish robust and transparent safeguarding policies and procedures that are embraced by all members within a supportive safeguarding culture. At Church Safeguarding Consultancy we are in agreement with this statement. A safeguarding policy should be a living document that all within the church or faith community agrees to adhere to. No one should work outside of your stated policy any such policy violation is unacceptable. It is about building a culture of safeguarding, and a safeguarding policy provides the framework for this.
